My name is Corinne Saumenig. I am the Me & My Shadow 2’s teacher. I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master of Education in At-Risk Students from Goucher College. While attending Towson I taught in both a daycare setting, and a private preschool. I taught Kindergarten for Baltimore County Public Schools for 12 years. I resigned to stay home with my children, and I continue to take graduate courses at Penn State University – York, as well as online through the Maryland State Department of Education to maintain my teaching certificate. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children. I also like swimming, photography, and participating at our church. In the past, I have served as a Discussion Group Leader (DGL) for my Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group. I have also spent time volunteering at my children’s elementary school (Shrewsbury Elementary), and served as a Girl Scout leader. I have been teaching the Me & My Shadow class at Faith & Fun since 2015. I love our supportive staff and leadership! Faith & Fun is like a family, from my perspective as both a teacher and parent! My youngest son starts this fall!
I love working with the two-year-old’s and their families. I look forward to introducing our littlest learners to God’s Love.
