Volunteer vs. Non-Volunteer Options
Classroom Volunteer
For the parent cooperative aspect of our program, parents will sign up to be the parent assistant in their child’s class on a rotating basis. Every couple of months, the calendar will be available for volunteers to sign up. You will act as the teacher’s assistant for the day and provide a healthy, nut-free snack for the class. (To be a classroom volunteer, you will be required to provide criminal background, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances)
Non-Volunteer Option
If you choose the non-volunteer option, another parent or staff member from our preschool will be volunteering for you. These parents/staff members will select their days and the students’ names will be placed on the calendar accordingly. Everyone will receive copies of the calendar so you know which day is for your child. On your child’s day, you will be required to provide a healthy, nut free snack for your child’s class.
Registration
Registration for the up-coming school year usually begins in February. Please contact the Director to schedule a visit or inquire about current availability.
