My name is Corinne Saumenig. I have been the Me & My Shadow 2’s teacher for the last 10
years. I am excited to begin a new chapter with Ms. Corinne’s Bunnies 3 day 3’s class! I
graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education with a
concentration in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master of Education in At-Risk
Students from Goucher College. While attending Towson, I taught in both a daycare setting and
a private preschool. I taught Kindergarten in Baltimore County Public Schools for 12 years. I
resigned to stay home with my children, and I continue to take graduate courses to maintain
my teaching certification with Maryland Public Schools. In my free time, I enjoy spending time
with my husband and our five children. I also like swimming, photography, and participating at
our church, where I teach Sunday School. I spend time volunteering at my children’s schools
(Shrewsbury Elementary and Southern Middle), coaching soccer, and serving as both Den
Leader and Assistant Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 90 in Shrewsbury.
I’ve been teaching at Faith & Fun since 2015, and I love our supportive staff and leadership!
Faith & Fun is like a family, from my perspective as both a teacher and parent! My youngest
daughter is in the 3 day 4’s class with Ms. Shanda! I am excited to teach our young learners all
about Jesus’ love!
